Wod 595 Shift training “Air Consumption Drill”

Air consumption drill. For training credit.

Parameters: Read carefully. To receive your 3 hours training credit you must provide several pieces of data.

  • Full PPE including SCBA with the exception of boots must be worn.
  • Record your air pressure when you begin.
  • Record your rounds and reps (it is an AMRAP)
  • When your low air alarm alerts, stop. Record your time. Rest 3 minutes while breathing air. At the end of exactly 3 minutes record your pressure and time. You’re done.

To recap: Record your beginning pressure, record your time of low air alarm, record your pressure and time after the 3 minute rest period, track total rounds and reps.

Air consumption spring 2020:

AMRAP (scba bottle)
10 alternating box step ups 20″ for all
10 burpees
100m plate carry 45lb
10 foot tire drive with the sledge

On your low air alarm, stop. Record your time. Rest 3 minutes. Record your pressure and total time.

Score your total rounds and reps completed. Time of low air, time and pressure after your 3 minute rest.

  • Step ups: 20″ for all. You must be fully locked out. Both feet on top. If you couldn’t hang out and smoke a camel, you’re not on it.
  • Burpees: chest touches the ground, stand up. Slight jump and clap overhead.
  • Plate carry: carry it however you choose. I would mark off a 50m stretch and go down and back. 45 pound plate
  • Tire: Mark off a 10′ section. Using the smaller of the tires, the tire starts flat on the ground OUTSIDE of the markers and you must drive it through the other markers.
